Hate That Cat

Well, you see
today I finished a book
called Hate that Cat
and if you've ever read
that book
then you would have had
to read another one
but I don't remember
what the name is.

I just remember
it was about a
boy
and about his
dog
and all about
poetry
and how much he
liked it.
And I thought
Why are there
rules?
To poetry?

I mean
my teacher
Ms. Evan
would not like
this post.
Because it has
puntuation
and also I havn't
capitalized
every first word
in a line.

And she would say
Sara
what kind of poem
is this?
and I would say
I don't know
I just started writing
and this is what
came out
but it has to
do with this book
called Hate That Cat
which is accually quite
good
even though it's not my lexile.

And she would give me
zero points
because I put puncutation
and I didn't do
capitalization
the way I'm supposed to

I mean
who came up with
all these rules
that we have to follow?
Why
do we have to have
two or more
similies
in every poem
it just doesn't
make
sence.

To me.

But i'm not going
to tell her that
because
she's my teacher
and she controls
my future
and stuff.

I wonder
if i'll ever remember
what the title of
the first book was
even though
it doesn't say it's a
sequel
it's kind of

Bad, bad.

I didn't do a post yesterday, and I can (barely) explain.
You see, yesterday I put off doing it (as always) until about midnight, and I still had no topic to type on. I finally went searching and found that they were doing a real life movie on Avatar: The Last Airbender, and that was kind of interesting, so I started. But at about the middle, I was so exhausted that I stopped and went to sleep. So, to make up for a lost post, I will tell a story I've been saving up for a while. It is a story of me and a girl named Taylor.

You see, Taylor is one of those, "popular girls". You read about them in books: scowl at you, insult you, ect. But the popular girls here are, like, the nicest popular girls ever. They work with you, and if you say something funny, they laugh. I mean, they won't completly ignore you, some just jump into the homework and work with you on it. So, stating my point, Taylor is a pretty nice popular girl. Really nice, accually. I had a little bit of a relationship with her...my friend Laura is a wierd mix of popular and dork, so we both got invited to her birthday, and I made her laugh a lot...but that stuff happens all the time, where I say something and she thinks it's hilarious. It's quite nice, but it usually doesn't last long. The most recent way it happened...is intriging. I'll just jump into the story.

So, one day, waiting at dance class for my mom to pick me up, a lady walked in. She looked older then most ladys, maybe 60, and she strolled in and peered into the window. I didn't really notice her that much...lots of people come and go and watch the next class...but then, she started talking to me. Just suddenly acted like I had known her for ages. You don't meet many women like that, and if you have, arn't they fantastic? Just like you're an old friend. Well, as we got into conversation, she pointed out that she was Taylor's grandmother. I told her all the nice stuff Taylor does for me, how sweet she is, and she couldn't belive she was popular, (smart, talkative, why not?). It was wonderful. She talked of their personal time, her dancing skills, almost everything, until I had to go. I bid her farewell and walked out with my sister, noting how nice Taylor's grandma was, and how much she was like her grandaughter. I didn't think about it much. Later that day, I logged on Facebook and started to do my thing...when I saw Taylor sending me a message on chat. Now, she's nice to me and all, but we usually never, you know, just begin a chat with each other. I had completely forgotten talking with her grandmother by then, so I was baffled. She asked me what's up, and listened, and told me about her day...me, sitting in disbeleif that this was all happening. What had I done to deserve this? She then brought up her grandmother. What she said spasificly was something like this, "My grandma said that u told her about me...thanks. ur really nice." It clicked, and I felt totally awesome, because everything I had said about her was true, and it must have made her day. That will forever be stuck in my brain like other weird things that we won't get to in this post, because it is becoming so long. Well, then, goodnight to all!

Today I got a little scare trying to do today's post.
You see, apperently Blogger has gone all Google. I was surpised they took my Yahoo! e-mail account in the first place, but didn't think too much on the subject. When I tried to log in for my third post, however, the sign in screen proclaimed it's Google-change, and asked me to log in with my Google account. I stared at my screen for a minute thinking, "Well, Blogger, say that some of your millions of bloggers don't have a Google account. What then?" Well, actually, there was a place to put your old one and get a Google account. I sighed, but started to type in my account. It was all a big jumble of e-mail, password, account kind of stuff until FINALLY...I figured out that you can just put anything under the Google account sign in. But don't computers have somewhat of a reputation of that? I mean, at least I always figured that since it's not a human, it doesn't make mistakes. I'm pretty sure this is the public opinion, but we have to all remember something. It was made by humans. It's a human invention. Problems with your download, or a glitch on a website, or a computer that doesn't let you put .avi files on Windows Movie Maker which is ABSURD...(*cough*) are truely, trivial. I just completed a book called Three Cups of Tea that tells the tale of a real American hero, Greg T., continues to risk his life constantly to fly to Pakistan and build schools for girls. He has a wife and two kids at home that he rarely can spend time with because he is trying to avoid mines. Americans, dare I say, take life a little bit for granted. It's an unfortunate fact, and there are so many ways that we can help the world to be a better place for everyone. Greg's organization, Pennies For Peace, asks that you only send pennies in to help people in need. I hope everyone does this knowing that every cent is going to a good cause.

Well, that's all. Now to try and get the spilt-bottle-of-pure-Vicks out of my room!

Orange Juice

You know, today I was getting my books from my locker, as usual, and started chatting with Gunner, as usual. Gunner is this one guy who's the only guy friend in our little circle of friends...it's nice to have him around sometimes. He's very into these dreams he keeps having about "The Keeper" and sci-fi stuff and you know, and he's very weird, but we like him. So yes, I began chatting as usual with him, seeing as his locker is only one away from mine, and he brought something up while we were talking about what we did in class. It went sort of like this:
"Matt kept stealing my chair and taking it away when I wasn't at my desk. I hate him."
I stopped and stared into my locker. It wan't really noticable, because I get lost in thought all the time, but 2 things went through my mind. 1rst, something about how hate is such an overused word and shouldn't be taken in vain, and 2nd...well...I wanted to convince him not to hate Matt, even though he had every right to. Let me explain. Matthew and his twin, Ethan, are typical prank guys. I say "prank" because I can't think of anything that fits the bill and doesn't sound sophisicated like "taunt" or "annoy". They do, probably, pull pranks, but there are a few guys who are still in 3rd grade humor and make fun of everything you say, so annoying. For example, when walking down the hallway with my good friend Melinda, we were talking about how obsessed with vampires she was, and Ethan came up to her and said in a whiny little voice, "I heart vampires!" and walked away, but then she said, "It says, 'I LOVE Vampires" and I started laughing, and she started laughing, and we just laughed. But back to the point, they do stuff like that. But...not to me. It's strange. I mean, they USED to do it to me, just as much as anyone else below their standards. But it just...stopped. I mean, I probably noticed it first when Matt and I were both waiting for Mr. Passow to get back. We stood there in silence for a while, but suddenly he's all like, "How are you?" and we get into this big conversation. It's very odd. But I didn't want him to say that he hated Matt, because I had recently found out that he isn't so bad. But I said nothing, because I only had a few seconds to think, and I had to get to the next class. But it stuck in my brain, and so here it is. And NO, they don't LIKE me. They just HAPPEN to not react like 3rd graders to everything I say.
*sigh*
Oh, yeah, the title? I'm drinking orange juice. But I'm out, so I'll get some more.

First Blog...wow....

Alright, everyone. This is me. No, this isn't me, this is my blog post...well, you can find me in here usually. I was recomended by the lovely PaperBouquet of Flickr (If she allows me to release her name, I will) to try blogging, because I had so many stories to tell. So, Mr.Blog, you are just a pad of paper for me to pour my heart out at 12 o' clock midnight to. I may talk a lot about myself and my many, many issues, so be warned, reader. Well, maybe there is no reader yet...maybe someday there will be. But even if there is never someone there to stare at what I type in this little box, I will still type. Until I forget. But that is another story to tell, another yarn to spin. Now, I'm wondering out loud if I should either post a "Quote of the Day" or a "Song of the Day". I do think a song would be nice, because I have many. But I have a thing with quotes, too. So in honor of PaperBouquet, I shall quote the only written words on her Flickr profile.
